The SRS story
The SRS story began in 2004 when Will and Alan, employees of Specific Refrigeration Services, decided to purchase the business. They saw great potential as the business was beginning to develop a unique position in the marketplace, where it offered turnkey industrial refrigeration and integrated mechanical services to the food processing industry.
Will and Alan’s passion for the business extends to their long serving and loyal employees. 90% of the SRS staff have been in the business for over 10 years. Both Will and Alan put great value in their team, as it is evident in their work that they care about the business, SRS customers and fellow co-workers.
SRS is now one of Australia’s leading refrigeration and mechanical services providers.
They have an annual turnover of circa $32mil and possesses financial resources that allows them to complete large scale Greenfield developments and plant upgrades and extensions. The company owns a 1,200 square metre factory which is fully equipped for specialised manufacturing and service compressor overhauls.

Will brings over 15 years’ experience in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning industry.
His key role includes business development and project management of large mechanical services projects, bespoke design concepts and procurement.

Alan is a fully qualified Refrigeration Technician with over 35 years of experience in the industrial refrigeration and mechanical services fields.
His key role includes providing technical and engineering expertise to a range of industrial refrigeration systems
Alan Patterson
General Manager
Mark is a fully qualified Plumber with over 20 years’ experience in mechanical plumbing and project management. His role is to manage all mechanical projects across Victoria.
Mark Lindsay
Mechanical Manager
Greg joined SRS in 2007 and has worked for some of Victoria largest refrigeration employers.
His knowledge of industrial refrigeration servicing and maintenance spans 25+ years and is responsible for the delivery of projects with a focus on installation, service and maintenance. Greg specialises in Compressor Rebuilds and preventative maintenance programs.
Greg Walker
Service Manager
Craig is a fully qualified and experienced Refrigeration Technician with 20 years of experience.
His key role is to manage large scale mechanical services, maintenance and mechanical commissioning projects.
Craig Thomson
Service & Commissioning Manager
John is a skilled Mechanical Draftsman with an 18 year history working in the mechanical or industrial engineering sector.
Skilled in AutoCAD Mechanical, AutoCAD, HVAC, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), and Project Engineering.
John McKenry
Senior Mechanical Draftsman
Dom is a fully qualified Boilermaker and has been employed by SRS for over 20 years. He has a unique skillset and specialises in pre-fabricated refrigeration plant and pressure vessels.
Domenic Celentano
Factory Manager
Holds a Master of Professional Accounting and Business Administration and is a member of CPA Australia. He has extensive experience in accounting, business administration and operations across the construction industry.
